Halvorson | Tighe & Bond Studio – an award-winning landscape architecture, site planning, and urban design studio within Tighe & Bond, serving New England and the eastern United States seeks a talented and motivated landscape designer/architect with 3 to 5 years of project experience to join our Boston, MA office (a flexible, hybrid remote work approach of three days minimum a week in the office is anticipated).
Our studio creates timeless, engaging landscapes that are rooted in fundamental design principles and inspired by the dynamics of nature. The studio’s designers bring a unique perspective that, when combined the expertise of our engineers and environmental specialists, creates more holistic solutions, with an eye to unlocking each site’s potential.

Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience
Must be a graduate of an accredited school (an advanced degree a strong plus)
Landscape Architect registration is a strong plus
Excellent visual, written, and verbal communication skills to communicate design ideas
Proficient design and technical expertise in construction document preparation
Proficiency with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, Rhino and MS Office preferred
Advanced plant knowledge necessary and field experience preferable
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multitasking environment, love challenges and details, be resourceful, and have great organizational and time management skills
Previous work experience that shows self-motivation and ability to work both independently and as a collaborative member of a team will be viewed as beneficial
Desire and ability to mentor colleagues
Responsibilities:
Site design at varying project scales and preparation of supporting graphics
Supporting project managers from schematic design through construction administration
Construction documentation
Assist in preparation of proposals and other business development efforts
Cost estimate preparation
