Halvorson | Tighe & Bond Studio staff, Jonathan Cave and Inmaculada Gil Cerezo, joined the Boston Society of Landscape Architects, GreenRoots Chelsea, and students from the Harvard GSD and Northeastern University to engage residents in a conversation about their hopes for a new open space in their neighborhood.
Halvorson prepared a series of boards to show the site in context and suggest options for various amenities the new open space might feature. Stations were set up for people to provide feedback about the possibilities for the site, discuss the community’s needs, and design their own space.
Stay tuned for an update from BSLA and Green Roots Chelsea about what we heard.
