NEREJ announced recently that MassHousing closed on a total of $11.2 million in affordable housing financing to WinnCompanies for the development of 22 new rental housing units and 30 new condominiums on the waterfront. The Clippership Apartments and Clippership Condominiums, designed by The Architectural Team with landscape architecture by Halvorson Design, will create new homes for households across a broad range of incomes.

NEREJ announced that Shawmut has completed construction on the restoration and expansion of Bigelow Chapel at Mount Auburn Cemetery. The renovation and new addition were designed by William Rawn Associates Architects, with landscape architecture by Halvorson Design, who also designed the Asa Gray Garden, which is visible from the new addition.

Congratulations to the entire Congress Square Team for winning the 2019 ENR New England Best Project Award for Renovation/Reuse and the 2019 Association of General Contractors Build New England Awards Grand Honor.
