Vesna Maneva, RLA, LEED Green Associate

Principal Landscape Architect

Vesna Maneva is a registered landscape architect with 20 years of experience. Applying her professional training in architecture, landscape architecture, and planning, Vesna has contributed to a diverse array of projects for academic, commercial, institutional, and municipal clients.

She is currently managing two transformative landscape design projects: the campus-wide renewal of Bristol County Agricultural High School in Dighton, MA, and the Breakwater, a climate-resilient waterfront redevelopment in Lynn, MA. As one of Halvorson’s cemetery sector leads, Vesna has also contributed to the firm’s renowned work in planning and design for historic cemeteries, including Mount Auburn in Cambridge, MA and Mount Hope in Rochester, NY.

Vesna serves on the Conservation Commission for the Town of Westwood, MA. Her recent public engagements include the presentation “Water Use Reduction? Low Priority, Too Complex? Think Again!” at the 2020 Architecture Boston Expo Conference, and "Landscape Planning for Cemeteries: Longevity through Beauty, Harmony & Innovation” at the 2019 New England Cemetery Association Conference.

Gardening is one of Vesna’s passions: she enjoys transforming her back yard into a meadow and woodland garden, while also growing a variety of flowers, fruits and vegetables. She also enjoys cooking delicious food, and antiquing alongside her daughter and husband.
