Lauren Butts, ASLA, PLA 

Landscape Architect

Lauren Butts is a landscape architect who brings previous project experience and a versatile skillset to the project team, ranging from the creation of digital 3D models and graphic renderings to design detailing and construction documentation. With a background in architecture, she enjoys collaborating and working with multi-disciplinary project teams to find design solutions that result in vibrant and engaging spaces.

While her interest in the emotional experience of space and the ability of space to create a positive impact in communities led her to pursue studies in architecture, her interest in ecology, conservation, and nature’s role in the experience led her to pursue landscape architecture. With each project, she strives to incorporate sustainable and resilient solutions in the project’s design.

Prior to joining Halvorson | Tighe & Bond Studio in 2022, Lauren worked at Trowbridge Wolf Michaels Landscape Architects (TWMLA) in Ithaca, NY where she worked on projects in transportation, higher education, and public sectors, including multiple projects with New York State Parks.
